By using pregnenolone cream or pregnenolone supplements, the levels of the compound in the body increases, and this brings about various benefits such as fatigue relief, and delay of the aging process.

Why take pine pollen? Testosterone is important since the hormone plays a vital part in general development, fertility, physical strength, and sexual desire, among others—and yes, pine pollen actually contains testosterone.

Plant-Sourced Hormone

Pine pollen is the male spore found in the pine cones of the pine tree (Pinus sylvestris or Pinus massoniana) and has been in use for thousands of years. Again, this is of high interest to us because pine pollen is rich in natural testosterone.

Here, you’re really getting added sex hormones, not just to increase testosterone production. Every gram of raw pine pollen contains 590 ng androstenedione, 110ng epitestosterone, and 80ng testosterone.

Pine pollen is an excellent natural exogenous source of androgens as it contains not just testosterone, but also dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) and other plant steroids. It’s also loaded with amino acids and other nutrients.

What makes pine pollen more special though, is that it lets you easily increase your free testosterone. Although the male body produces sufficient supplies of the hormone, a considerable amount of it gets trapped.

Testosterone Solution

Testosterone production is mainly focused in the testes and has a vital role in maintaining sex drive. It’s also necessary for maintaining and increasing muscle mass, physical strength, and bone mass.

Testosterone levels peak once men reach the age of 40, after which the hormone starts to decline at a rate of about 1% a year. This is why some might need a testosterone booster to keep optimum hormone levels.

Sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG) and albumin deactivate more than 90 percent of your naturally produced testosterone. Now, with pine pollen powder or pine pollen tincture, you’ll be getting testosterone that’s free to make wonders for your body.

Benefits of Pine Pollen

While pine tree pollen can give your androgenic hormones a boost, it isn’t the only thing that the supplement offers. Here are several other health benefits you’ll get to enjoy from taking this natural male health enhancer:

  • Detoxification. Pine pollen contains brassinolide (a kind of brassinosteroid) and glutathione, both of which help the body get rid of toxic substances and chemicals.
  • Anti-Inflammatory Effects. Pine pollen is a great anti-inflammatory agent as it reduces inflammation naturally without having negative effects on healthy cells. Inflammation has been known to cause various health issues.
  • Prostate Regulator. Pine pollen has gibberellins, a steroid that can regulate the prostate’s size as well as mimic testosterone. This can help prevent or alleviate prostate cancer and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
  • Fights Free Radicals. Pine pollen has superoxide dismutase, which is known to reduce free radicals in the body. Note that free radicals can damage cells and tissues, as well as cause brain, liver, and heart problems.

Is Pine Pollen for You?

You can get the supplement in tincture form, powder form, or capsule form. They’re essentially the same, so you’ll only have to consider your needs and preferences—especially in relation to convenience.

Just to be sure though, if you have allergies to either pollen or pine, it would be best to find another supplement. Also, if you’re currently taking any medication, you should check with your doctor before taking pine pollen.

All things considered, if you want to boost your strength or libido, or achieve hormonal balance, you might want to consider taking pine pollen. Testosterone is no longer something you could only get directly from patches and injections.

  1. Can a 21 year old male use this? Will it not interrupt or stop the natural production of testosterone? I suffer from low t and I want to add this to my regimen

    • Yes no problem, it won’t stop natural production. Pine pollen mainly increase T via DHEA content in the pollen and so far I have never encountered a case of shutdown or excess estrogen.
