Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is notorious for potential side effects and if you are feeling unsure about your treatment, why not get started with a royal jelly testosterone regimen instead?
Royal Jelly Testosterone Effects - Backed by Science
A substantial increase in testosterone levels was observed after testing royal jelly treatment in infertile men. Researchers even noted significant increases in semen motility and sperm count.
Another human research study showed that royal jelly intake sped up the conversion of dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEA-S) to testosterone. This is likely what makes Royal Jelly so effective at boosting hormone levels in both men and women.
Jelly Fit for Royalty
Just what is royal jelly, exactly? Royal bee jelly is produced by worker bees, it is the milky white sticky substance which is consumed by drones and larvae worker bees during their first three days of existence.
The case is different for bees of the largest size and longest lifespan: the queen bees. They feed on this bee jelly for the rest of their lives.
It is so important in the hive that bees use royal jelly when changing their queen. Bees feed royal jelly to the larva they want to be the next queen, enabling her to grow 60 times bigger than all the other bees in the hive.
Royal jelly is composed of the following:
- Amino acids
- Salts
- Vitamins
- Fats
- Sugar
- Proteins
- Water
Queen bees experience many benefits of royal jelly. As a result, they get to reach their maximum size, they are able to lay 2,000 eggs daily, and they can live for up to seven years.
Royal Jelly for Longevity
You might wonder at this point, what can royal jelly be used for aside from boosting testosterone?
Take it from the queen bees that experience royal jelly benefits. From there, you can be sure about the following: it's anti-ageing and life-extending effects.
Several studies validate one of the royal jelly uses that traditional Chinese medicine practitioners do— use royal jelly to promote the prolongation of life.

Royal Jelly Side Effects

Only those who are allergic to royal jelly honey risk experiencing health risks. Most people who are allergic to pollen or bees are also allergic to royal jelly.

Having had read that fresh Royal Jelly is most stable and effective preserved in natural honey, I have been taking Royal Jelly and Bee Pollen in a raw honey. However, I have just found I have low progesterone, which is adversely effected by sugars. I avoid all sugars except this Royal Jelly raw honey. Should I take Royal Jelly in a capsule instead?
Hi Sarah,
It depends on what your blood sugar is. I’ve eaten a diet completely void of sugar but still had low progesterone.
I would put more emphasis on Glycohemoglobin (HbA1c, A1c) test, which shows your average blood sugar the last 3 months. If this is high, avoid honey. If it’s normal, keep enjoying it.
I would rather remove grains in my diet to reduce blood sugar than honey, honey has many health benefits and is lower glycemic than for example rice or bread.
For the progesterone, you can get a progesterone cream.
Best,
Alex
